Foreign policy dominates latest "Voter Voices" roundtable

When five Lincoln residents gathered at Bennett Martin Library in Lincoln for the latest "Voter Voices" roundtable discussion, it wasn’t difficult to get a wide range of opinions. These were all regular patrons of the Lincoln City Libraries, and they came ready to discuss what issues they felt needed additional discussion in the congressional and presidential campaigns. What surprised us was how quickly the groups focus turned to foreign policy and America’s role in the world.

U.S. Senate candidates to respond to "Voter Voices" videos during NET debate

NET News will present the third debate between U.S. Senate candidates Deb Fischer (R) and Bob Kerrey (D) live from the NET studios on Monday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. CT. The debate will be available live on NET1 / NET-HD television, NET Radio and on the NET web site.

In addition to questions from journalists, we will also use two “Voter Voices” video questions during the debate. Record a video on an issue that's important to you in the next 10 days, and your comments will be considered for use during the debate!

UNO library to offer Voter Voices recording


The University of Nebraska at Omaha's Criss Library will open as a Voter Voices recording location on Monday, Aug. 20. Members of the campus community, as well as the general public, can record at UNO during all regular library hours.

Criss Library staff are using an old election booth for their Voter Voices recording station!
